Our subsidiary club, Calusa Dog of Southwest Florida, will hold its second sanctioned CPE (Canine Performance Events) trial on February 4 and 5, 2012 at Showcase Performance Horses in North Fort Myers, Florida. We were the first CPE approved Club to hold trials in Southwest Florida. See our premium for more information.

Calusa Dog Agility Club hosted our second AKC trial on October 8 and 9, 2011 outdoors, covered, on packed dirt at Showcase Performance Horses in North Fort Myers, Florida. This was a two ring, one judge event with Lisa Rieves judging. Premiums will be accepted starting August 1, 2011. Premium. Final Results Saturday. Final Results Sunday.

Calusa Dog Agility Club hosted our first AKC trial on Aug 26,27,28, 2011 indoors, on dirt at air-conditioned Turner Center in Arcadia, Florida. It filled in two-and-a-half days after opening. It was a two ring, one judge event with Daniel McDonald judging. The trial included a fund-raiser for the 2011 World team. The prize was team member Tori Self running the role of the dog. Our subsidary club, Calusa Dog of Southwest Florida, hosted our second NADAC trial on July 30 & 31, 2011 indoors, on dirt at air-conditioned Turner Center in Arcadia, Florida.This was a successful two ring, one judge event with Dwayne Bonker from NJ judging. Premium. Final Results.

Our subsidary club, Calusa Dog of Southwest Florida, held a Show N’ Go Fun Match on Sunday Feb 20, 2011 from 9am to 3pm.

Our subsidiary club, Calusa Dog of Southwest Florida, held its first sanctioned CPE (Canine Performance Events) trial on December 4 and 5, 2010 at the Turner Agri-Civic Center in Arcadia, Florida. We were the first CPE approved Club to hold trials in Southwest Florida. CPE is a National Agility Organization and has become a popular Agility Venue in Florida, but previously, the only clubs holding trials were in: Jacksonville, Tampa, Palm Bay, Groveland, Zephyrhills and Williston.

The Calusa Dog Agility Club conducted our successful AKC Plan A Match at the Manatee County Fairgrounds in Palmetto, FL on Friday, Nov 12. 2010. (See the letter from AKC announcing our sucessful completion of our Plan A match.) We held the Match following the conclusion of the Dog Training Club of Tampa’s (DTCT) Sanctioned AKC Agility Trial being held that day.  Thank you to DTCT for helping us! Our judge was Janneke Case.  Bob Gale was our Trial Secretary.  This match was another setop on our way to be able to hold AKC Sanctioned Trials in the future.

Our subsidiary club, Calusa Dog of Southwest Florida, held its first sanctioned NADAC agility trial on August 28 and 29, 2010 at the air-conditioned Turner Agri-Civic Center in Arcadia, Florida. Due to overwhelming response, our NADAC trial filled! Thank you for the wonderful support you have shown us by registering our first sanctioned trial!

The Calusa Dog Agility Club had its second FUN MATCH at the Greater Fort Myers Dog Club Dog Show on Saturday May 22, 2010 9am-3pm at the Lee Civic Center. It was also a great success, with many folks watching the runs who were there for the other show. We were complimented how our fun match ran better than many trials.

Calusa Dog Agility Club had its first FUN MATCH on Thursday March 4, 2010 at Companion Dog Training Center. It was a great success with lots of fun, running, food, comradery and prizes.  A photo gallery of the match is posted below. A video of 2 runs is here.
